A big thank you to all who joined us on Saturday for our annual Winter Social Craft Fair ❄️ From puppet shows to candle dipping to jump rope making and organic cotton candy, it was a beautiful and magical day. We love opening up our doors and sharing our community far and wide. We loved seeing everyone discover unique, handmade treasures, and wish you all a cozy season filled with creativity and warmth!
Here’s a summary of all that was offered and enjoyed at this year’s Winter Social Craft Fair:

Gnome Village – Children will step into a world of wonder, where they’ll be invited to choose three special treasures to gift to their loved ones. In this magical space, each moment is filled with the joy of giving. Afterward, they’ll delight in picking a cookie from the enchanted cookie tree, with gluten-free and vegan options available to ensure every child can enjoy the magic. To preserve the enchantment, this experience is for the little ones only—parents can look forward to seeing their children’s joy afterward.

Candle Dipping – In a peaceful and nurturing space, children will be invited to participate in the timeless tradition of beeswax candle dipping. As they craft their candles, they’ll be guided by a beautiful story about the honeybees and their precious gift of beeswax, fostering a deeper connection to nature’s wonders. This hands-on experience is designed to inspire and delight. Space is limited, so we encourage early sign-ups to ensure your child’s spot. To preserve the special atmosphere, parents are asked to wait outside.

Jump Rope Making – Children will have the joyful experience of crafting their very own jump rope using a traditional wooden hand-crank machine. With each twist and turn, they’ll not only create a beautiful, handmade toy but also take home a special keepsake filled with pride and memories. This is a hands-on activity that encourages creativity, craftsmanship, and fun—an unforgettable moment for each child to cherish.

Craft Room – In the Craft Room, children will step into a world of creativity and joy, where they can make up to three beautiful crafts to take home and treasure. Surrounded by a warm, inviting atmosphere, they’ll be able to choose from a variety of hands-on projects that spark their imagination and fill their hearts with pride. Each project is designed to bring out their natural creativity while offering a meaningful, homemade gift to share with loved ones or keep as a cherished memory.

Puppet Plays – KWS Early Childhood teachers present Featherlight, the name of a boy so small that his parents wonder if he will ever grow. A heartwarming story that leads from the security of Grandmother’s lap to the excitement of traveling on the wings of a dove, and the challenge of a rescue.
