Volunteering at Kimberton Waldorf School
One of our Core Values at KWS is that we believe it takes a community to educate a child. Supporting this value depends on generous contributions of volunteer hours, talent, and donations from parents and community. This not only enhances the operation of our school through participation and inclusion but also adds to the diversity and social fabric of our school community.
We recognize that some may find it more challenging to volunteer hours so we are open to a wide variety of ways in which service hours can be fulfilled that accommodate different schedules and needs. This includes in-kind donations, such as a donation from your business (e.g. – the donation of a good or service by your company for a specific event or classroom need).
Additionally, families that volunteer, especially for fundraising activities (e.g. – Spring Benefit), are potentially eligible for the Barry & Cyndy Olliff Scholarship.
