Jake Strevig

Life Sciences Teacher; Grade 11 Advisor; Outdoor Program

Jake joined the staff in 2020.  Before teaching at Kimberton, he spent many years as a ranger with the US Forest Service in Montana and Colorado as well as teaching at Basalt High School in western Colorado.  Jake shares his awareness and appreciation of the outdoors with the students often.  He loves using the campus as an outdoor classroom to teach a variety of hands-on ecological lessons like tree identification, and mapping as well as running aquatic macro-invertebrate surveys.
