The morning assembly featured moving performances, uplifting and emotional songs, and a keynote address by Dr. Selvi Kara, Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Bryn Mawr College, whose words invited deep reflection and inspiration. The assembly culminated with our Grades 5–12 chorus singing “When Dreams Take Flight,” filling the space with hope and purpose.
In the afternoon, students in Grades 8–12 continued the work through hands-on workshops rooted in the day’s theme, exploring poetry, dance, painting, music, and more. A day of art, reflection, and shared humanity—honoring Dr. King’s legacy through creativity, courage, and connection.
