Mathematics in the Waldorf Curriculum:
A Workshop for Teachers
March 27-29, 2026
Hosted by Eva Goedhart and Margarita Slavina
Please join us for this weekend of collegial exchange as we explore questions regarding the teaching of mathematics in grades 6-10. What are the needs of the young people we are meeting today, and how can we meet them in the teaching and learning of mathematics?
We invite you to bring the questions you are carrying and the contributions you have to offer on such questions as:
• What content is relevant and meaningful to students today?
• How have you changed what you teach?
• How do we work effectively with the variation in skills we see?
• Are mixed-age groups successful?
• What does it mean for students to be well prepared?
And of course we will do math!
Event details and registration is available through a webpage that I will set up. We will ask for a registration fee to cover the costs of event.
Looking forward to the work together,
Margarita Slavina, Eva Goedhart
