“When my child left for college, I expected the usual struggles with adjustment—but instead, I saw her thrive. She carried with her a deep sense of who she is, the ability to think independently, and a genuine love for learning. Waldorf education gave her more than just knowledge—it gave her resilience, curiosity, and a strong inner compass. I’m endlessly grateful for how well it prepared her not just for college, but for life.”
“When I began college to study engineering, I was occasionally apprehensive that I may not be as prepared as my peers. I found that not only was I adequately prepared in the typical STEM subjects, but my experience at Kimberton had giving me an advantage in areas like writing and communication, team collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking. These skills helped me succeed in the creativity focused, project based environment of my engineering education.”
“If there is one thing that I can say for certain about my Waldorf education, it’s that it made me fall in love with learning. Learning is something that takes many forms at a Waldorf school – I didn’t just learn math, science, and English, I learnt art, music, knitting, sewing, gardening – and with each subject I gained not only new knowledge, but new tools with which to relate to the world around me.”
