KWS Admissions Process

Thank you for your interest in Kimberton Waldorf School

We have a rolling admissions policy and accept students throughout the year when space is available. We are currently accepting applications. If a class is full, we continue to accept students into a wait-pool. Follow the steps below to learn more about becoming part of the Kimberton Waldorf School family!

1. Submit an Inquiry

The first step of the admissions process is to provide us with some basic details about your family. Submit your inquiry form here. We will send you an information packet in the mail.

2. Visit the School

Choosing a school is one of the most significant decisions you will make for your child and your family. Whether you are new to Waldorf education or transferring from another Waldorf school, we are here to assist you as you make decisions about your child’s education.

International application fees are $200.

4. Family Interview/ Classroom Visit

When the Admissions Office has received the completed application and support documentation, the parents/guardians will be contacted to arrange for the student to interview with members of the Admissions Team and Staff. For our preschool and kindergarten programs, the interview will be conducted with the parents.

Families with students applying for grades 2nd through 12th will also be asked to schedule a 3-day classroom visit.

At this time, either proof of full COVID vaccination or proof of a negative COVID test within 3 days of the visit is required.

If you have questions about the interview or visit, please contact our Admissions Office at admissions@kimberton.org or 610.933.3635, ext. 108.

5. Admissions Decision

The Admissions Office will contact you shortly after the interview with an admissions decision or to discuss next steps, as needed.

Tuition Assistance (Financial Aid)

Tuition assistance is determined after the child has been accepted for enrollment, and all other forms and records are complete. If you are interested in applying for need-based tuition assistance, please click here for more information.
