Discover the High School
Tuesday, March 14, 2023
8:15 am – 10:30 am High School Library
The High School provides a rich, rigorous, immersive academic experience for students in grades nine through twelve. Teachers craft hands-on experiences which sharpen students’ growing intellectual capacities and strengthen their powers of judgment and creative thinking, while students take on more responsibilities for their own education. Learning is not limited to the classroom but engages the student with the world through rich and meaningful experiences.
High school admissions events have concluded for the 2022-2023 school year. Please contact us to set up an individual tour!

Discover the Lower School
Tuesday, April 25, 2023
8:15 am – 10:30 am Garden Building
The Lower School meets the need of first through eighth graders by cultivating their imaginative capacities through integrative education and hands-on learning. When children learn by doing and are encouraged to think creatively, they are able to make connections between art, nature, and academics in a way that cultivates their innate curiosity and deepens their appreciation for the world around them.

Kindergarten Visit
Friday, March 24, 2023
10:30 am – 11:30 am Kindergarten Building
Get to know our two-year kindergarten program that preserves the important elements of childhood while meeting children’s physical, social, and emotional needs. Paired with a thriving forest program, the curriculum lays the foundations for inquiry, literacy, critical thinking, and traditional academics in the elementary grades.
We invite kindergarten-ready children and their parents to spend an hour with us on Friday morning, March 24 at 10:30 am. Enjoy bread making, play time, and a story. Discover the warm and magical setting, meet our experienced teachers, and find out how the time-honored Waldorf framework provides the freedom and structure necessary for imagination and confidence to bloom.

Forest Kindergarten Walk
Saturday, May 20, 2023
10:00 am Meet at Kindergarten Building
In our Kindergarten, the “classroom” is the school’s breathtaking 430-acre campus, with its rolling hills, farm and gardens, conservation trail, babbling creeks, and wooded areas. Kimberton Waldorf School brings every student in our two-year kindergarten program into the forest for modules throughout the school year. They enjoy circle time beneath the trees, eat corn – freshly popped over the campfire – for snack, and sip aromatic mint tea that warms their little hands between explorations and games. KWS’s forest is the perfect place for children to explore the outdoor world within the safe boundaries and supervision of experienced teachers – giving them the opportunity to use their imaginations, develop critical thinking skills, stretch their muscles, and hone their motor skills.
Parents and children are invited to visit our outdoor classroom and learn more about our amazing kindergarten program as we walk along the campus’s trails and French Creek.
