Ona Wetherall is the Interim Dean of School.
Ona has been working at KWS for 10 years as a lead teacher in the Early Childhood program. She has been a member of the Lower School Core Team for 5 years and the Core Team Leader and Governing Team member for 1 year. She is a parent of three children, two who are students at KWS.
Governing Team Members are Ona Wetherall (chair), Kevin Hughes, Deb Merroth-Ahola, John Holmes, and Anna Hoffmann.
John Holmes has been a Eurythmy teacher at Kimberton since 1995 and recently retired from teaching. John has been a long-standing member of the
Child Care Committee, and has been a Lower School Core Team member. John was selected to join the Governing Team in 2013. He is an alumni parent. Deb Merroth-Ahola has a long association with Kimberton. She is an alumni parent, and was a member of the Board of Trustees for many years, and served Board chair. She is Kimberton’s academic support coordinator and has been the High School Core Team Leader and a Governing Team member since 2013. Anna Hoffmann is the Lower School Core Team leader. She teaches Handwork and is an alumni parent. Kevin Hughes is the former Dean of School, taught a variety of subjects at KWS for many years, and is an alumni parent. Ona Wetherall chairs the Governing Team.
Upper School Core Team:
Deb Merroth-Ahola (core team leader), Elisabeth Burgess, & Hezi Haut
Elisabeth Burgess has been teaching German at Kimberton since 2006. She is also Kimberton’s international student coordinator. Hezi Haut has been teaching Physics and Mathematics at Kimberton since 2005. Deb Merroth-Ahola is the Upper School Core Team Leader.
Lower School Core Team:
Matthias Fuell, Anna Hoffman, & Ona Wetherall
Ona Wetherall has been teaching in Kimberton’s Rosebud Early Childhood program since 2014 and is a current parent. Anna teaches handwork, has been part of the faculty since 2016, and is a KWS parent. Matthias joined KWS in 2017 and is a class teacher.
