“Learn to Change the World”
“Learn to Change the World” was the motto for the Waldorf 100 celebrations, and it could not be more true.
As each school year ends at Kimberton, I reflect on the work accomplished by students, teachers, and families. Every year brings a clear rhythm of learning, growth, and shared experiences that shape our school community. Our curriculum combines academics with the arts, outdoor education, and hands-on, project-based learning. Class plays, field trips, seasonal festivals, and hands-on learning are central to how we teach, helping students connect what they learn to the world around them.
This past year was full of meaningful progress. We saw students grow in confidence and creativity. Each experience, whether major or small, added to a strong sense of purpose. As we look ahead to the new year, I feel inspired by the momentum we’ve built.
Our faculty is dedicated to supporting each student’s individual path. Many teachers stay with the same class over several years, allowing for consistency, tailored instruction, and a deep understanding of each child. Detailed narrative reports provide a comprehensive view of academic performance and personal growth. Students are encouraged to approach complex problems analytically, work effectively in groups, and take initiative in their learning.
We do more than prepare students for tests — we equip them to meet life’s challenges with clarity, resilience, and purpose. They are encouraged to think critically, act with empathy, and innovate with intention. Grounded in timeless values and empowered with a strong inner compass, Kimberton students are poised to shape the future in meaningful, impactful ways. They learn how to change the world. This is more than education — this is preparation for life.
