Weeks 1 and 2: Creek Adventures
June 27-July 1
July 5-8 (no camp on Monday, July 4)
Explore the French Creek and the fascinating creatures who live there. Children will have the opportunity to get their feet wet with fun water play, creek side hikes, tubing, swimming, fishing, and exploring habitats of the animals that live in and around the creek.
Weeks 3 and 4: Discover the Farm
Children will discover the wonders and rhythms of farm life. Whether it is helping care for our animals or tending to our gardens, there is never a dull moment on the farm! This week of hands-on activities allows children to explore and connect with the many aspects of living and working on a farm.
Weeks 5 and 6: Outdoor Explorers
Experience life on our farm, in our fields, and through our forests. Children will help care for our animals, engage in woodland explorations, build forts, search for animals and their homes, and enjoy adventures in the trails and fields surrounding our school.
Week 7: Kids Cook (Grades K-7)
A unique cooking experience, children will learn about farming, nature, healthy cooking, and what it takes to bring food from the farm to the table. This program offers a great way for young people to make the connection between their food, health, and the environment. With a focus on sustainable food, children will learn to make frittatas, bread, butter, pizza, fresh salsa, guacamole, and more. Kids Cook week includes a daily snack and lunch. A $35 materials fee will be charged.
Week 8: Kids Craft
Children will create a week-long project, plus smaller daily projects. Crafts include felting, beading, weaving, making bird houses, sewing, painting, or clay work. A $35 materials fee will be charged.
