Spend your summer at Kimberton Waldorf School - where outdoor fun is the heart of our camp!
Join us for active summer days filled with creek adventures, arts and crafts, creative play, picnics, woodland explorations, games, sports, and more. Our beautiful 425-acre campus provides a wholesome environment where children can experience the wonders of nature and create memories to last a lifetime. Led by dedicated and talented counselors, who are faculty, students, staff, and alumni of Kimberton Waldorf School, our camp provides a unique balance of hands-on, teacher-led activities and supervised free play.
Kimberton Waldorf School offers a summer camp for children entering grades K-7, as well as an early childhood camp for children ages 18 months to 4 years old. Our 2014 summer camps run from June 16 through August 15, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Our early childhood camp offers a half-day option (in addition to full-day) from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. You may sign up for as many weeks as you wish. Extended care is available for all age groups at an additional cost. Please click the links below for more details.
“What a gem we discovered with this camp! I will never forget both of my children telling me the first day how thrilled they were to be there for 4 weeks; they were already asking to continue the following summer as well! The outdoor campus of Kimberton Waldorf School has so much to offer the children in summer. Each day they enjoy the total freedom of being close to the earth, the stream, the sky, and of course, the cows! Carmen has struck a wonderful balance between filling the days with activities, and allowing for the beauty and open spaces of summer to seep into the children. They came home with laughter, stories, and fond memories of the moments they shared.”

"Kimberton Waldorf School’s Rosebud Garden camp is such a special and wonderful place for my daughter to spend her summer days. I love the emphasis on encouraging children to explore and appreciate the natural environment around them. Each day I brought my daughter to camp, I was struck by the safe, loving, peaceful setting in which the children were able to dream, imagine, and explore. I could see my daughter's face light up each morning as she looked forward to spending time with new friends, taking nature walks, splashing in the water, helping in the garden, and listening to stories and songs of the season. I look forward to another summer filled with outdoor fun, imaginative play, and lasting memories."
