A comprehensive overview of Waldorf Education and the programs offered at Kimberton Waldorf School. Families should attend an open house as early in the admissions process as possible. Tour the campus; meet faculty, students, parents, and alumni; view samples of student work; participate in panel discussions; and gain an understanding of Waldorf Education through inspiring faculty and student presentations. Complimentary childcare is usually available for younger children (ages 2-7).

Rosebud Garden Story Hour
Infants and toddlers up to age 3, accompanied by an adult, are invited to attend. (Children who will turn 4 before June 1, 2017 should consider attending one of our kindergarten events instead.) Join us for a story and free play experience with our preschool teachers and parent-child teachers.
Rosebud Garden Tea and Play
Tea and play is a weekly offering for parents and their children 4 and under. We invite you to join other families in our warm and welcoming Rosebud Children's Garden to enjoy some tea while your child plays. Tea and play is held every Friday from 8am-9am.

Children who will be age 4 or 5 as of June 1, 2017, accompanied by an adult, are invited to attend. Meet the rose kindergarten teachers and learn more about our traditional kindergarten program, which is carefully designed to respond to the developmental needs of the young child through imaginative, play-based learning.
Discover the Forest, Field, and Farm Kindergarten
Children who will be age 4 or 5 as of June 1, 2017, accompanied by an adult, are invited to attend. Meet the forest, field, and farm kindergarten teachers and learn more about our outdoor kindergarten program, which is carefully designed to respond to the developmental needs of the young child through imaginative, play-based learning.
Discover the Lower School
Visit the classrooms and learn about our perfectly-designed curriculum for students in grades 1 through 8. This is a rare chance to see the classes in action.
Discover the High School
Visit the classrooms, meet and interact with faculty, and learn more about the crowning years of a Waldorf Education.
Neighborhood Open House
Chat with current KWS parents and meet fellow prospective families who, like you, are exploring the school for their children. Children are welcome.
High School Shadow Day
8th graders enrolled at other schools who have not yet applied to KWS may spend the day shadowing a student in our high school.
