Get Back To Your Roots: A Reunion Celebration for KWS/KFS Alumni and Friends

Saturday, June 14, 2014
12:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Please mark your calendars and plan on attending this fun-filled event which will provide an opportunity to reconnect with friends, and share memories of the "good old days," while seeing the many changes that have taken place at Kimberton Waldorf School. Whether you are celebrating your 5th reunion or your 50th reunion, it's cause for celebration as we come together and toast to friendship, lessons learned, and those to come.
We will kick off the event by planting a community flower and herb garden to help beautify the campus and create a lasting memory of the day (weather permitting). Next, we'll be enjoying a delicious menu of local foods, a live band, and a walk down memory lane. Our new Dean of School Kevin Hughes will provide a short update on our program, while gardening teacher Celia Martin will share the highlights of the garden-to-table program and provide a tour of the beautiful, lush garden. Visit the biodynamic and organic dairy farm across the street and sample that famous Seven Stars Yogurt. Stroll the grounds or sit under a shade tree. We may even have a trivia competition with prizes!
We invite you to Get Back to Your Roots and have a good time while doing so.
Although all alumni are invited, this year brings a special focus on the following class years:
5th reunion       2009
10th reunion     2004
15th reunion     1999
20th reunion     1994
25th reunion     1989
30th reunion     1984
35th reunion     1979
40th reunion     1974

We need volunteers to help organize activities for your class, please contact Mary Hirsch at 732-232-5159 or . We are missing the email addresses of many alumni and ask for your help in sharing those that you have. Children and parents of alumni are always welcome to our reunion. Childcare will be available if we have a good turnout of children.
