This talk will take place in the HS Library. Gunther Hauk, director and co-founder of Spikenard Farm Honeybee Sanctuary, will visit KWS to discuss the sanctuary situated in Floyd, VA in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Sanctuary aims to restore the health and vitality of the honeybee worldwide. Hauk has been an educator, biodynamic gardener, farmer and beekeeper for nearly four decades. This event is co-sponsored by KWS and Kimberton Whole Foods.
The original time of 7:30pm has been changed to 5:45pm.
The menu for February's community dinner is Chana Masala, Biryani, and Mago Lassi. Adults $10 and Children $5. There will be a children's activities table. RSVP by calling extension 133 or by stopping by the kitchen.
