Lynn DeMont will be leading a reading group focusing on Kim Payne's Simplicity Parenting. The group will meet on the following Sunday afternoons: February 21st, March 14th and April 18th from 2:00 - 3:30pm. The group will meet in the Red Rose Kindergarten.

Kimberton Waldorf School high school students have begun production of Gilbert & Sullivan's The Mikado, a comic opera about the preposterous carryings-on in the mythical Japanese village of Titipu.  The show is a political spoof, comically intertwined with a love story.  "The cast is really enjoying the mix of British comedy, a Japanese setting, and the wonderful Gilbert & Sullivan music," notes Kris Keller, KWS parent and producer. The musical, which will take place March 4 - 6, 2010 in the school auditorium at 410 West Seven Stars Road in Kimberton, will be open to the public through four performances.

Ticket prices are $8 for students, $10 for seniors and $12 for adults.  Tickets can be ordered in advance by calling the school at 610 933-3635 ext. 136, or stopping by the Seven Stars Shop on campus on Monday, Wednesday or Friday between the hours of 8am and 4pm.
