Kimberton Waldorf School is excited to announce a new Community Scholarship Program beginning in the 2015-2016 school year. Scholarship recipients will each receive $10,000 applicable towards tuition, which is renewable each year through graduation, contingent upon the recipient remaining in good standing.
Dedicated $10,000-per-year Community Scholarships will be offered to:
graduates of Waldorf schools that do not offer high school programs
graduates of the following partner schools: Goshen Friends School, Friends School Haverford, Miquon School, Montgomery School, Plymouth Meeting Friends School, The School in Rose Valley, West Chester Friends School, and The Wyndcroft School
children of employees at the following corporate partners: AGI, Pfizer, SAP, SEI, and Vanguard
This scholarship program will enable more students to enjoy the benefits of the Waldorf curriculum, and support our mission to make Waldorf Education accessible to a wider segment of the community.
Scholarship recipients will be selected by committee on the basis of alignment with the school's values.
Community Scholarship applicants are required to complete all standard KWS application materials for the appropriate grade level.
Families are encouraged to submit all application materials early. Only those applicants who have received an offer of admission by January 15 will be considered for the scholarship for the following school year.
