Kimberton Waldorf School, founded in 1941, is the second oldest Waldorf school in North America. We are located in Chester County, PA on a beautiful 430-acre property that includes fields, woods, creeks, and the Seven Stars biodynamic dairy farm just across the road. Kimberton Waldorf School is seeking part-time Extended Day caregivers to begin in September to care for nursery-aged children at Rosebud Garden, 3-5 p.m., and supervise Kindergartners through sixth graders, 3-6 p.m. on the main campus. Experience with young children and familiarity with Waldorf education are required. Compensation is on an hourly basis. Kimberton Waldorf School is seeking a part-time Handwork teacher for the 2014-15 school year. Skills taught may include felting, sewing, knitting, spinning, weaving, book-binding. Most classes are taught in blocks of about eight weeks and meet twice a week.
