Kimberton Waldorf School, founded in 1941, is the second oldest Waldorf school in North America. We are located in Chester County, PA on a beautiful 430-acre property that includes fields, woods, creeks, and the Seven Stars biodynamic dairy farm just across the road. We offer a full Waldorf curriculum including music, orchestra, gardening, eurythmy, handwork, woodwork, drama, and athletics. For the 2016-17 school year, the KWS Athletic Department is seeking the following:  
Nurse – To attend home games, meets and matches during 2016-17 school year. Ideal candidate would be certified and willing to work at an hourly rate about three times per week for 2-3 hours/day, approximately 3-6pm.
Bus driver – To drive to away games and field trips during 2016-17 school year. Must possess a current CDL (with a passenger endorsement) and clean driving record. Competitive hourly rate offered, approximately six hours per week on average. Would need to be available most afternoons around 2-6pm.
Middle School Cross Country Coach starting in August. Ideal candidate would have experience in the sport and with children. Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Practices and meets will take place about three times per week, on weekdays, 2-6pm.
Bantam Girls Basketball Coach starting in November. Ideal candidate would have experience in the sport and with children. Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Practices and games will take place about three times per week, on weekdays, 2-6pm.

PART-TIME MUSIC DEPARTMENT ASSISTANT
KWS is seeking a part-time teacher to assist our music director. Duties may include teaching some choral or instrumental classes in lower school or middle school; leading sectionals for orchestra classes; and helping to organize and conduct in school concerts.

Candidates should have experience teaching music to children in classroom settings, and conducting ensembles (either choral or instrumental). Ideal candidates will have the ability to play a variety of instruments, Waldorf training, and experience teaching in a Waldorf school. PART-TIME HANDWORK AND/OR PAINTING & DRAWING TEACHERS
KWS is seeking part-time art teachers to teach Handwork and/or Painting & Drawing classes in high school and middle school for the 2016-17 school year. These will be part-time positions as we are needing a few courses covered. Most of the Art and Handwork classes are taught in blocks of time, roughly 8-10 weeks, twice a week. The amount of classes to be taught may vary, depending on applicants’ skills and experience and courses that need to be covered. All applicants should have teaching experience. Ideal candidates will have Waldorf training, or experience teaching in a Waldorf school. Ideal Handwork candidates will have skills in sewing, felting, spinning and weaving. EXTENDED DAY CAREGIVERS
KWS is seeking two caregivers for our Extended Day program for the 2016-17 school year:  one for our pre-K Rosebud program, and one for our K-6 program. These are afterschool programs. The hours for the Pre-K program are 2:30-6:00, Monday through Friday. The hours for our K-6 program are 3:00-6:00, Monday through Friday. These are part-time hourly positions.
