Kimberton Waldorf School, founded in 1941, is the second oldest Waldorf school in North America. We are located in Chester County, PA on a beautiful 430-acre property that includes fields, woods, creeks, and the Seven Stars biodynamic dairy farm just across the road. We offer a full Waldorf curriculum including music, orchestra, gardening, eurythmy, handwork, woodwork, drama, and athletics. Kimberton is a founding member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America and is accredited by AWSNA and the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges. EARLY CHILDHOOD ASSISTANT POSITIONS

We have an immediate opening for an assistant for our Rosebud Garden pre-K program on Thursdays and Fridays to help care for a group of children ages 18 months to four years. May include both morning and afternoon hours. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Waldorf early childhood education and experience working with young children and their parents. This position could expand in December to 5 days a week. UPPER SCHOOL OFFICE MANAGER

Applications are being accepted through September 21, 2014 for the position of Upper School Office Manager. Responsibilities include record-keeping; management of timelines, communication, and the flow of information in the administration of high school activities; and developing and maintaining clear, cordial, and professional communication with colleagues, students, parents and other contacts through social business. Requirements include excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong computer skills with a strong knowledge of database management, Microsoft Word, and Excel; and strong knowledge of computer troubleshooting and maintenance.
